as my fingers reach out
to the falling raindrops,
i smile as i watch the rain come down,
softly sprinkling on my skin
alluring my senses into spring awaking.
as i surrender to the beauty of rain,
swimming in a sea of serenity,
a blanket of warmth surrounds me
as i fade into the darkness
letting my mind set free.

today it's rainy and cold outside... but we love the rain. it's always getting comfortable listening to the raindrops crackling down on the window. it's so soothing and also kind of inspiring!
